Pop Up event with Radio Thessaloniki

It was an exhausting but rewarding night. We parked our Iveco early in the morning in front of the southern entrance of the Thessaloniki International Fair and we talked live on the Radio Thessaloniki 94.5 programme hosted by Stefanos Diamantopoulos – “the voice” of our hometown.

We took a break and returned to the spot at 5:00pm and we never took a breath till midnight: we hugged and kissed more than a hundred good friends and many other followers   – the real The World Offroad clan. We also met the new mayor of Thessaloniki who gave us the official flag of the city to take it around the world.

Mr. Konstantinos Zervas is a young man who was elected four months ago when nobody believed in his bid. We spoke on the radio and we interviewed each other. He was keen to understand how do we feel leaving Thessaloniki behind and we asked him how will we find it as soon as we return some years from now.

So with all this positive energy we departed in the following few days for our first route, which will be a Balkan Express adventure. Our collaboration with Radio Thessaloniki 94.5 is official and soon we will start reporting from abroad in almost daily basis. We feel thrilled!
